I just started a course on blogging and today is my third day. So far I have learned something each day. The course is provided by Word Press and it will run for the first three weeks of November. Once the course starts it is closed to any newcomers. It does reappear regularly so you could get on board next time. There is no charge. Go visit Word Press.com.

Very foggy again the other morning. I appreciate fog because it helps provide unusual photographs. However I think we have had enough gray, dull, and boring days for this fall. It is also cutting into our winter weather. (I hope I don’t regret saying that.)
Beautiful photographs.

Let’s just say I am not yet comfortable with all the to-ing and fro-ing, reading and comments. I consider Blogging 101 more of a challenge than anything else. I expect to enjoy it once I get more comfortable with the routine. Good question though.

Your photographs are just beautiful Glenn. I like how you write too. I am on day one of the blogging course. I might try and knock off a few days today and try to catch up with you.

Kind comments. I have a few things I must write to day. Let’s keep reading, writing and posting!

I do like your photos Glenn. I also struggle with Blogging 101. I feel bogged down in the mire of jumping between posts, leaving comments, remembering to post a link to my Blogging 101 posts on the Common page. I feel that I have learned a bit about the Word Press site already and I added tags to one of my posts today and categories. I’m not sure what the difference is between a category and a tag yet.
I think that the one thing that Blogging 101 teaches us, and encourages us to do, is to go and read other people’s posts, and get to know other writers, their styles and opinions. I have already met some great writers and photographers and I am enjoying Blogging 101 immensely. Also, here’s a thought, even though I am not writing much content on my blog site, I am writing.

Tags are like bread crumbs that help people find their way back to your blog topic.
Categories cover whole topics like photography, blogging, religion and again help people follow what you are blogging about. That’s my best shot, hope it helps.
